This 24cm or 9.5 inches diameter food mill is made from 18/10 stainless steel. It has a rotating blade attached to a handle that you turn to press food through the perforations. It does a better job than a food processor because it's easier to control. Control is the big difference, food is never over-processed. A food mill breaks down the food but never really smashes it to a paste. And with 3 sizes of disks, you can make a fairly fine to a slightly coarse puree.
